Sadly, he also said good-bye to his Nana, who passed away on September 29. We were very grateful that Nana's passing brought friends and family together, many of whom Isaac got to meet for the first time. We were also grateful that it gave us a chance to celebrate Isaac's birthday with Aunt Christine and Aunt Joy in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. As birthdays go, this one was pretty special - lots of delicious food and his first trip to the beach.
Birthday breakfast chocolate chip muffins.
Hanging out in Duboce Park, waiting for the N-Judah train to take him to his birthday lunch at The Ice Cream Bar.
No, it's not an optical illusion, Isaac's grilled cheese sandwich is twice as big as his head.
Waiting gleefully for his ice cream sundae to arrive.
Aunt Christine helps Isaac spoon out the last dregs of his sundae.
Whoa, that's a really big swimming pool!
Isaac's bucket sprung a leap, necessitating many trips to the water.
Popular day at Crissy Field.
Good-looking skyline. Good-looking Fromen.
Birthday dinner at Rigolo, a restaurant with a play room.
