Isaac, Mom, Uncle Dave, and Cousins Shaan and Sam enjoyed some dinner together after attending Dad's family concert (which included some tunes from the Nutcracker and a wacky take on the Jungle Book).  Sam did a terrific job of entertaining the little guys.

First Haircut (aka the Massacre of Baby Locks)

Mom and Dad decided Isaac needed a haircut.  Just a little trim around the ears. The hairdresser ended up chopping off a lot of hair.  Dad and Isaac were unfazed by this. Mom was very sad and mopey.  Mom is still sad and mopey.  Mom will still be sad and mopey when she looks back on this event 20 years from now.

Mom: "You're gonna keep it nice and long, right?  Just a little trim around the ears."

Isaac: "For the love of God, listen to my mom, Lady."

Isaac: "Hmm.  I don't think this is the hair around my ears."

Isaac: "What are you trying to prove, by taking me to the $12 Hair Cuttery?"

Mom and Isaac: "Uh-oh."

Isaac:  "Mom is gonna lose her shit."
