Brooklyn: Day 1

First-ever NY bagel (consumed at neighborhood coffee shop, Vineapple).
Taking in the view from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
Little boy, big city.
Checking out the trucks whizzing by on the expressway below and the cool construction projects on the pier.
Tearing himself away from all the activity to look at the camera.
Lunch at Cafe Iris.
With guidebook (also a coloring book) in hand, Isaac hits the NYC Transit Museum.
Up close and personal with a NYC bus.
Going for a ride.
Driver training with Dad.
And he's off!
Checking out an old school subway car with Dad.

Reading up on NYC history.

Also on his first day, Isaac toured three delightful Brooklyn Heights playgrounds.  And then later that night, while dining out at Noodle Pudding, he had a classic toddler tantrum - bread went flying, tears were shed.  Luckily we were sitting next to friendly folks and the waitstaff were accommodating.  Turns out Isaac is soothed by a never-ending supply of grated Parmesan, spooned at regular intervals by charming, old Italian men.
